Anabella Moceri

Hi! My name is Bella, and I live in the United States. I am 21 years old, and my experience with VSS has been quite a journey. I’m so happy to share my story. Looking back, I think I’ve always suffered from migraines and headaches for about four years. The onset of the persistent static I see started in March 2023 after a traumatic incident with my friends in college. While I can’t exactly pinpoint the cause, I’ve been struggling ever since, with my main symptom being static, along with floaters, tingling in my legs, and extreme migraines.

I’ve seen two neurologists, one neuro-ophthalmologist, two eye doctors, and I’m currently seeing a chiropractor. It’s hard to say exactly what has helped, but a combination of these doctors has provided some relief for my migraines. Every day is a struggle, and sometimes the anxiety that comes from VSS is unbearable. It’s also difficult because not many of my close friends or family can relate to what I’m going through.

I know my symptoms could be worse, and I’m grateful that I am okay. I continue to pray for everyone suffering from VSS, hoping for a cure, that I continue to see improvements in my symptoms, and that I trust in my faith every day.
